Milldale Ranch

On July 1, 1899 the Secretary of State of the State of Nebraska officially issued the brand, “7HL,” to the Milldale Farm & Livestock Improvement Co. (Ltd.). The big “H,” as the brand is called because it looks like an “H” with hooks on the upper left side and lower right side, was certified by Frank Marsh, Secretary of State, on September 14, 1967 as the “oldest recorded brand still in use in Nebraska.”
